Evergreen enhances the Far East Panama Service (FPS)
In response to the demands of emerging markets in Mexico, the Caribbean Sea and the Central America areas, Evergreen is pleased to announce its new Far East Panama Service (FPS).
Evergreen will deploy eight 2,728 TEU-size vessels with the first vessel, APHRODITE I 0001-156E, starting on May 24, 2008 from Kaohsiung. The port rotation is as follows:
Kaohsiung - Hong Kong - Shanghai - Ningbo - Lazaro Cardenas - Colon Container Terminal (Panama) - Kaohsiung
This new service is restructured from the existing China-U.S. East Coast Service (CUE) in order to enhance the services with sufficient port coverage, greater capacity and improved transit time which will help the customers to seize the plenty opportunities across the regions.
