Evergreen Line staged its 2007 Global Agency Management Meeting (GAMM) in Taipei on 11 and 12 October. The event, which took place in the Chang Yung-Fa Foundation Building, had seen nearly 200 of Evergreen Line's senior management and agency partners attending, representing over 70 countries.
Evergreen's Group Chairman, Chang Yung-fa, opened the event with some brief remarks, after which he presented two Excellent Agency Awards to Evergreen Line's agents in Hong Kong and Brazil respectively. Topics covered during the two-day event included service and fleet expansion, yield management, intermodal systems, marine safety and e-commerce strategy.
As light relief from such weighty matters, Evergreen Group Chairman Chang also arranged a concert performed by the Evergreen Symphony Orchestra for GAMM attendees on the afternoon of 11 October.
